Evan Pt. 2

It's about time I got around to posting on here more. I have no real excuse, but here we are. These are some shots from a little at home series I worked on, and I am obsessed with how they turned out. Appologies for taking so long to post, but I hope this makes up for it!

Revisiting Sean

Sticking with the theme of my last post, I am revisiting old shoots and editing new photos with fresh eyes. Today I am sharing a series of shots with Sean. These were taken almost two years ago, but feels like yesterday. It's crazy how time flies.

Throwback Shoot with Alex

Because of working on my coffee table photography book I have been going through my archives everyday looking for forgotten gems. In doing so, I've come across shoots and memories that I had completely forgot about.

These photos are from an afternoon just hanging out with Alex...way back in 2013. Looking through them reminded me of how simple my life was then. At the time, I was a college student and the only job I had was part time at Starbucks. I had my own little apartment and very little bills. I could spend most of time doing whatever I wanted, no pressure and no worries in the world.

I hung out with Alex a lot and I miss those days of doing absolutely nothing but never being bored. There were 3-5 shots from this afternoon that I had edited and shared, but the rest were totally forgotten about. Looking back, I probably discredited them because I am pretty sure we were super stoned at the time we took these photos. Anyways, I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Instagram Selfie Project

Most of us are stuck at home - for good reason - and spending a lot of time connecting on social media. This gave me the idea to host a selfie challenge for my followers. The idea was to have people take a selfie from their home that made them feel beautiful and confident. I would take those photos and edit them for my blog then encourage everyone to connect with each other. There weren't any rules about the selfie, whether it was a self timer or classic mirror snap was totally up to them. People from all over the world and from all different types of backgrounds sent me their selfies. You'll see different ages, body types, and races. All of these people are quarantined at home and I think it shows that we are truly in this together globally. I've linked each person's selfie with their instagram account and I encourage you to follow them! Lastly, thank you to all you beautiful people who participated! Stay well everyone!
